The Senior group has long been a group for elite Trojans
who aim to be some of the top swimmers in the province,
region, or even the country. The Senior group trains 9
times a week including swimming twice a day on multiple
days, and several long course practices. 4 of those
practices will be swum as a joint practice with High
Performance and Saturday mornings will be with both
Junior and High Performance. The biggest change here is
the introduction of swimmer specialization, with
swimmers encouraged to find their best events and train
to compete mainly in those events. Swimmers entering
Senior should qualify for, or be on the cusp of
qualifying for East Coasts and will likely start aiming
at higher level meets while in Senior. The Senior group
will be mainly coached by Mike under the guidance of
Lance, though Lance himself will coach some practices,
including most joint practices.
